HTS (Property and Environment) Ltd and Harlow Council had together agreed to pick up everything on the St Clare Hospice IPU wish list that nurses were requesting for Christmas.
The Hospice Cooperate Partnerships Manager contacted HTS and asked for their help to make the IPU a little more special/cosy for the families this Christmas.
They really want to make it feel even more homely than normal. The team asked them if it would be possible to source items like fluffy blankets, Christmas cushions, Men’s PJs/ T-shirt’s, loose fluffy socks, lights for their tree and some new baubles as the nurses like to take the baubles round to the patients and get them to pick one for them to put on the tree.
HTS Non Executive Director Simon Carter went on behalf of HTS and Harlow Council to make the safe distance festive delivery to St Clare Hospice.
