Several parts of Harlow in particular along the M11 corridor were affected by flash floods on Tuesday evening causing traffic chaos and flooding to a number of properties. HTS responded to calls from local residents assisting them with water leaks and delivering a number of sandbags to homes which were at risk from flooding.
On Wednesday 10th May our road sweeping team were called upon to assist with a mass clean up in Churchgate Street where mud and debris were making driving and walking conditions unsafe.
A local residents said “the team have been brilliant, helping us clean up the sludge”, “they couldn’t have been more helpful” and “A really great cleaning job has been done, thank you”
